Be careful, I had one of these. I almost died. It’s very very dangerous going over 25mph in a standing position. U stop short it a bump your eating pavement with your face! They are fun as hell but watch the speed.

I really hope these electric scooters become legal to use in the UK I know that you can legally own one and use it on private land with the owners permission but I want these to become legal to use on roads mabye not public paths obviously that is why I haven't got one yet I'm waiting for this to come in and then I will strongly consider buying one

This is really cool but I think this needs a motorcycle endorsement especially at 80 mph most smaller harleys get to that speed. The reason is simple. So many people with no motorcycle experience are buying these powerful tricked out electronic bikes and scooters having no education on counter steering and safe riding patterns and technique. I used to ride 919 hornet and I hated it when some idiot raced passed me inside my lane nearly making me lose control from startling me. Lane sharing is very much discouraged in the biker community and pretty soon we are gonna have these scooters startling us as we make turns and nearly making us eat pavement. The motorcycle course shows you techniques for dealing with road debris, it gives you a much more in depth lesson on visibility, and handling through curves and how to brake in a curve without having your bike swiped out because you didn’t straighten up before squeezing your brake lever, oil slick avoidance, blind spot avoidance rain riding, and laws regarding good motorcycle behavior. No cop will pullover someone on one of these for popping a wheelie. Now we got scooter riders with no knowledge wizzing thru traffic faster than a lot of 250s will go. What do you think? From a bikers (25,000+miles experience in hectic Florida traffic) perspective I think safety education is of utmost importance . do you agree or disagree? I think better educating elect bikers and scooters can save them from slick wipeouts and braking improperly through a curve throwing them into oncoming traffic or over a cliff.
