The idea for Robo-Mow FPV came from a friend’s challenge. After building the first one by converting a Toro electric self-propelled mower I learned a lot and decided to build a complete mower from scratch. The result is Robo-Mow FPV. It is 24V and will run for over an hour
on a charge. The concept, design, and construction were done in about 3 months. I had some help with the welding from my good friend Nathan. Ken at Wild to Mild and Image Graphics did a fantastic job on the paint.
Robo-Mow FPV is completely electric. It cuts a 20″ path and is controlled from a hand held remote control. I can mow standing to the side of the lawn or from the comfort of my recliner watching through the onboard camera on my big screen TV. FPV (First Person View) is the same perspective as if I was riding on the mower. I use this mower every week, it sure makes mowing a fun chore.
