  1. I failed electrical engineer a long time ago, and this video shown me why. a 8-9 mins video manage to make me understood something that took me 1-2 months to learn and still fail to understand 7:00, I know it turn AC to smooth DC, but not how it work (now I do). when we made our circuit, we got scold because we miss a lot of stuff was "implied" in the lecture (it nearly a decade and I'm still salty about it lol). Hard work pay off, but sometimes you just need a godamn good teacher to teach you the fundamental first. Thanks you TEM.

  2. I've watched over 10 videos on capacitors and honestly I wish I discovered this channel earlier thank you so much for the amazing explanation!

  3. I'm still super confused over the motion of electrons in the battery-capacitor circuit. So from my understanding, this battery is offering a DC current, meaning it can only travel in one direction, but at 2:29 , electrons are spontaneously stored in the positive part of the capacitor? It couldn't have travelled through the red wire because that would be going against the electron flow right? Is this sample animation just a hypothetical where the electrons are already in the positive portion of the capacitor and am I just over-thinking it?

I guess to put it into a more concise question, if the electrons couldn't travel through the red wire to the positive side of the capacitor, how did they get there in the first place?

  4. Me: What is the meaning of life?
The Engineering Mindset: I want you to first think of a water pipe with water flowing through it

  5. I get it, so basically, one work of capacitors is to act as a sprig/shocks to a vehicle in rough roads. This ensures the passengers to have a smooth ride.
