ROVER S5 robotic complex is designed for autonomous movement along pedestrian pathways and wireless transmission of video picture taken by built-in video cameras.

The security robot consists of a wheeled chassis with electric motor drive, guided by automatic driving system, and of independent video surveillance system. The system of video driving provides all-weather and day-and-night driving without operator guidance. While the robot moves along patrolling route, it transmits video picture taken by all-round surveillance cameras. When it reaches observation position, its tracking system is activated, focusing the robot’s turning camera on moving objects. Video pictures from all cameras as well as robot’s location indicated on electronic map are transmitted to tablet PC of the operator or to the Internet.

– Mobile video surveillance, automatic focusing of PTZ camera on movements and moving object tracking.
– Remote video surveillance on tablet PC; continuous video recording by built-in video recorder.
– Moving between observation positions without operator guidance.
– Automatic driving around obstacles and returning to recharge batteries.
– Time of autonomous patrolling – 12 hours; operating range – up to 35 km (22 miles).
– All-season and day-and-night operation.
– Low noise electric motor drive.

Security robot “ROVER-S5” is an effective solution for automatic round-the-clock patrolling of secured areas. It can become a reliable assistant for any security provider. Mobile video surveillance robot can continuously patrol around secured objects and perform video surveillance from different points.

  1. This would be perfect for private security and loss prevention. A mobile self patrolling ptz camera with led light bars for high visibility deterrence, and sensors to detect dangers such as smoke, cleaning chemical vapors, carbon monoxide, license plate reading, and built in alarms and panic buttons. They could even add a tablet to provide customer service to guests such as store, restroom, security office, and management office locations and merchandise locations.

  2. High-tech robot with Lo-tech paper bag on it is basically useless. Any one can push it over on the side too. Whats the point if it can cover great area, doesn't mean area where robot is not at will be safe. Also it needs constant charging, servicing. Vandals just wait to put their hands on these. The same reason security cameras are on high post with spikes, so no one will ruin them. Way cheaper and less demanding is stationary cameras (everyone knows that). This setup only good for reconnaissance operations in war zones, where stationary cameras not practical or possible, or too dangerous to send troops in. Even that would be joy practice for snipers.

  3. Where are you based?
Can i send you a resume?
    How do i apply?
    Love the works.
    Sincerely.
    Thanks.

  4. How long until you have something in an 8-foot diameter white balloon guard that roars? I have an island and want to prevent people from leaving without permission. ……. # 1.

  5. great ideas but improve it… make it as a flying drone with solar panels as charging on a stand dock… 360 degrees real camera (no motor) night and day. waterproof and weatherproof. perfect WiFi and 3g. sefure specific area with easy android app. face detection with big visible OK leds and body detection to disarm the drone (example : 2 like thumb signs next to your knees will disarm the drone and need face detection as well)… 150db alarm, fire detection if inside or outside. 2 ways communication and very loud. fully autonomous 100% working even at night, day, snow, rain, charging, etc etc to bring the little solar docking and the little drone with you on holiday (airplane in your handbag) so you can keep your stuff safe when you're swimming with your family. million of things to think about but such reliable (unbreakable : needs to be safe and fully protected) device could be sold for more than 3000 us dollars each… mix a GetPiper camera with a Phantom 4 drone and a solar docking… go go go !!!
