I go over the basics of my setup using the Dimension Engineering Sabertooth 2×32 motor controller. In this setup I’m using an RC radio to control the robot. Visit my website https://www.zeug.com Amazon affiliate link to Sabertooth 2×32 https://amzn.to/2TcBGO1

  1. Great. What about the batteries ? We are having some trouble connecting a big boat accu to it -i guess overcurrent. What are you using ?

  2. Those connectors are sold by Anderson power products. I use them in all electrical work.

  3. you can make your own motor driver for pennies. Hit me up if you want the parts list from DigiKey and PCB circuit.

  4. My concern with Sabertooth controller is regarding its construction: it does not looks very robust . Did you have any problems with it or the enclosure you built was enough?

  5. I'm trying to figure out how to get a serial (sbus, ppm, or crossfire) receiver to control mine

  6. Nice works, have you a wiring Diagram? Is the battery 12 or 24 volt, and amp? Greatings from austria

  7. Thank you for the video. It is possible to move backward with this board?
I mounted it on a robot with a similar configuration and the throttle only permits to go forward (I'm using a Spektrum remote too).

    Sorry for my bad english!

  8. I'm also using the 2×32 on my track drive robot. The sabertooth randomly reset causing the stick center to move. This cause it to move on it's own . I use a separate 6v pack but that didnt help

  9. great build video series! I was planning on making a stand up tracked skateboard using one of these tracks and drive wheels with electric motors powering it. What do you think of this idea? I need to find a way to gear the motor properly for torque and drive-ability using a single track vs two. let me know what you think and if you have any ideas to help me out! thanks!!

  10. Thank you so much for this upload!  Thumbs up and a sub from me…  Stay safe…   Rico

  11. THANKS, you pretty well answered all my Questions about the Sabertooth 2×32 I plan to purchase for my large scale StuG. Thanks again for the simple explanations!

  12. Not hating but it's not a robot, it's a remote control vehicle, if it was a robot you wouldn't need a controller it would do everything autonomously. it's just a remote control car, truck, tank etc.

  13. Well done. Do you have 12v or 24v? What kind of cable did you take? ?

  14. Lol wow, Looks and works good. When i bought my 2×60, it came with a fan on top of it and holes already drilled for mounting
