VIDEO CONTENT: Insert Controller Here is a DIY channel that creates custom video game controllers. The use of arduino microcontrollers allows for unique gameplay experiences in a variety of games and platforms. These platforms include PC, Xbox, Playstation, Switch, and many other retro consoles produced by Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony. Videos provide engaging entertainment, but can also teach or inspire viewers to create their own controllers and learn new engineering skills. Additional instruction can be found on my website https://insertcontrollerhere.com.

  1. I've purchased a new microphone so that I can talk to all you lovely people along with learning more about how to use Premiere Pro. The next episode will be a major upgrade in quality. I'll still try to get the next episode out within the next 2 weeks, but it will be worth the wait.

  2. Okay, so as recommended, I watched this awesome video. Unfortunately, the link to the project files is not working anymore.
I would love to know if and how a rotary encoder (like that 600P, 2-phase, analog ones) can be used to interface with e.g. a PC racing game. Is an HID class device capable of providing that information, or do I have to map it to e.g. an axis of the PC-mouse? Just starting to investigate this topic…

  3. Did you hard wire the kids controller to a GameCube controller? How did you use dpad controls instead of the joystick?

  4. So I'm browsing ideas on a spare arcade 1up I have still boxed and wanted to have a way to convert it into the "arcade version" of Mario Kart and a few others..

This just made my day.. genius and comical

  5. Looks cool but I'm confused. How are you connecting the arduino to the GameCube/Wii? That can't be a RetroPie can it?

  6. Next idea: Fuse every single Nintendo controller together as one big controller!

  7. I'm surprised this channel hasn't gotten way bigger yet. Oh well, it'll happen soon
I still hope to see a controller made out of some kind of real musical instrument.

  8. This is is one of the most underrated YouTube channels I've seen. You need more subscribers because this is fantastic

  9. I'm kinda surprised how nicely labeled that board is! It's almost like they knew there'd be people hacking it to do stupidly awesome/awesomely stupid stuff

  10. Alright, play Melee using multiple Fox Mccloud plushies as the controller.

  11. Where did you even find this wheel toy? Did you have It already or did you buy it online or something? ( Not saying that I want It or anything…..)

Edit: Baby Park was the best map choice for this video lol

  12. flip phone ? (also dont forget me when you get bigger than vsause!)
