Im trying to figure out what the Landriod L1500L2000 (only the battery size is the difference here, i have upgraded to the L2000 battery, no need for that really, but some more weight on the rear wheels is a good thing when the lawn isnt even)

I was a bit sceptic the first few days. but this is a great machine after i have learned its limitations, and adjusted the wires a bit and did some simple landscaping with a shovel in some areas. my lawn is very uneven and has a few steep hills. In the steepest parts i use my modified diy RC lawn mower! https://youtu.be/C10Xu8XQt-s

  1. You know there’s a difference between the words “to” and “too,” right?

  2. Nice to finally see a video which doesn't just show how it performs on a square flat patch! What about behind or between the bushes leaving narrow paths. How often (enough?) does it manage to get to such remote places?

  3. Thanks for the upload, but please arrange first your wiring and grass before putting that poor robot on that yard

  4. more honest videos like this are needed. These things seem to be like roombas in the sense that you can get out the "real" version of a vaccuum/lawnmower and see instant results, whereas if you watch the landroid / roomba in action its very underwhelming. However, its surprising what the results are when you let them do their jobs WITHOUT watching them. This Landroid cant cut down a dandelion? lol wow

  5. Worx robotmower is not good. Front to low. Mower digs into the ground and stops. Do not buy a Worx.

  7. Thanks, was good to see what the mower is capable of, for those of us without super flat lawns

  8. that mower can be improved a lot with weights in the tires and maybe spikes. I used car weights of 5 and 10g and its a world better

  9. You should remove the metal protector located under the robot. That way it will not get stuck as much. And you will save some landscaping.

  10. It's really horrible that you can hear the torque limiters in the gearboxes slipping so much on the inclines. Shows they basically made them too weak to let it pull itself up the inclines they sell it for. L1500 can do a 35% incline (35cm per 100cm) or 20 degrees. Oddly enough the M1000 can do more and I never hear the torque limiter slip. They are both dumb as doornails though. NO AI what so ever.

  11. Well this was some test 😜, no disrespect but your 'lawn' if you can call it that is a bit of a mess hehe, in time I think your robot going to make is better, some water and fertilizer wouldn't go a miss.

  12. Have the excat same worx. It maintenanc the lawn, so letting it lose on this wildness is a problem. Mine also nose dives and gets stuck so a little plaing out is nessary. 😀

  13. After having the Landroid for a bit of time now, would you recommend it? About how large would you say your yard is? I'm looking to mow about 4000-5000sq meters, but my yard is a bit less complex than yours with a lot of wide open areas with no obstructions.

  14. Thanks a lot for the video – this "torture-test" is a great and fast learning for me before installing. I think it saved me a lot of time!

  15. What you put that Landroid through was wholly unacceptable and Worx robot abuse, no lawn mower of any type, should be treated this way, I hope if it goes wrong Worx refuse to cover repair under warranty.

  16. You know you’re supposed to cut the grass before you turn it on
