Worx Landroid M is listed as "Best Value" on toptenreviews.com
I have Landroid M, works great. Not more problems with wire than other products. All gardens need more or less adaption to the robot. It can do heavy slopes. But it does not have slope compensation. What that does is that i cuts worse in slopes. HQ is better there.
Landroid does have theft protection.
I've used several of these machines; Husqvarna, Landroid, and the robomow. Husqvarna is by far the best but its costly. I currently have it doing 2 acres. The robomow is good as well but it wears out a bit faster. Blade motors are easy to change. I think for most suburban lots the husqvarna is over kill, really don't need the GPS tracking to do smaller areas. All of these machines require you follow the rules of installation or the won't work properly. Many of the negative reviews are of people who did not install properly or didn't know what they were getting. I read some where they didn't realize the yards had to be connected and they needed to install wire. Not fair to leave a 1 star review if you didn't do your due diligence. I will agree, the landroid customer service isn't very good.
The husqvarna is a champ on any hills. I will say the robomow and landroid handle hills like the manufactures claim if the hills have grass. If the hills are bare dirt the tires will have trouble getting traction. Really these devices are simple, people run into problems when they don't read instructions or overcomplicate the installation process.
Some of the reviews are also outdated. Landroid has done firmware updates to solve some of the 'out of the working area' issues. The biggest negative of the landroid is it doesn't have an app, the other two do.
