Again, a thoroughful and very helpful video. Thank you so much for making and sharing. On the issue of "Boris" (what a name!) getting lost during vacation, I wonder if you would recommend setting vacation absences in the mower's schedule and, by doing so, accept mowing manually when coming home again?
Hello Jeff Thanks for this video and the previous one. Great quality and very informative. I have the same mower, and your videos have given me some ideas. I had the same problem with ingress/egress, and I used the same solution. As you say, the base has to be dead level. Mine's a year older than yours, and I found it "learned" a bit in the second year about optimal mowing strategies. I think Bosch send updates out over the internet to refine its cutting logic and endurance.
Can I ask, did it go out much in the rain, and if so did it cut OK? I've been a bit paranoid about avoiding the rain, because I can't see any info about its water resistance and wet weather cutting quality. Obviously in the UK avoiding the rain all year is not easy!
Happy mowing in 2020! Regards, Simon
hi there. the 2 videos were great, and after a long time searching about witch lawnmower i want to buy you may have give me the answer. but i have some questions that i hope you could help me with: -does it run every day? if not,how often? -how big are the 2 gardens combined?
-did it had any problem passing from one lawn to the other? -did it ever runned out of energy before ending the all garden? if so,did it got back there by itself (after charging) and continued were it left off or it always starts in the same direction? -is there a reason for you to put it away during the winter? isn`t suposed to work all year around?
thanks and keep Active
Yes, there sometimes are boundary tracks after the mower has been out. It happens when the mower first goes out around the boundary and then also because it often comes back round the boundary to the home base. It seems to keep quite clean and we just wiped it down with a damp cloth when we brought it in for the winter, and maybe a couple of times qover the summer. I hope that helps, Jeff
Hi, I'd like to ask, have you observed any "tracks" along boundary wire? What about cleaning?, is it easy?
Ahh, a 'Boris' that actually does some work!
