Just a quick stick welding tacking trick I learned a while back. Pretty neat.

i’m just getting started welding and i’ve watched a many videos but yours gave me good advice thanks
That was neat , That'll be handy when using 7018 rods
Excellent point!!
The first hour of anyone ever around a stick welder.
I don't remember giving anyone permission to record me welding the other day.
lol first part of the video was pretty funny 🤣🤣🤣👍 I think anyone that ever welded can relate to that. Very good tips!
😀👍👍👍
Easy video to watch. I'm a beginner and loved the tip.
I already learned this trick but felt I was doing something wrong. Thanks for improving my confidence
First 40 seconds happened to me today
Such a good tip, that has been the most frustrating part! I've just learned from my uncle and I was EXACTLY like the intro!
Good tip thank you
That intro is me.
First 40 seconds of the video is me in school
I kind of strike my stick like a match when I get going with it. Like a short brushing motion real quick and then into the spot I’m going to weld
Great vid, easy to understand.
John Practice?
That was one funny awesome video and such a great tip man thank you very much
Why have I never thought of this 🤦♂️
I'd be scared of getting electrocuted lol. Wouldn't it be easier to cut the electrode smaller and use that for tacking then switch to a full length for the full weld?
The beginning looks like me.
oh my gosh dude… the first part of the video is "me"…. no joke… I just bought a $99 welder off Amazon and trying to teach myself to weld and welding seems harder than ppl think.. I'm about to throw my welder thru the window
Brilliant vid cheers from the UK
First 40 seconds: it's like you've known me my whole life!
If you heat the object first with gas you will find it strikes alot easier and there is no slag to chip off
I was doing this when I began but then somehow all that shaking just goes away and you just take the clamp with the electrode and tack. Why is it?! I don't know! )))) (I'm lying obviously)))
Hello sir your way of teaching is good but I like to tell you we are not fluent in understanding English language if someone speaks normal or little fast if you speak more slow then people like me understand what you say I am impressed with your actions otherwise I could not understand what you said and by reading my comment you can realise that my English language is not bad but problem for none English people who don’t live in English speaking country can’t understand the language easily best of luck
