and the Linea Mini at https://prima-coffee.com/equipment/la-marzocco/linea-mini

The El Rocio Zarre is a pressure-profiling machine, which means you can control the pressure of the pump during the extraction. It is also an automatic machine, which means you can program shots by time and, alternatively, make espresso simply by pushing a button. The La Marzocco Linea Mini, on the other hand, is a more robust espresso machine (in terms of parts) but with less robust features (in terms of settings and programmability). It is a semi-automatic machine operated by a simple on/off paddle. In this brief comparison, Steve highlights the key differences in order to show what makes each machine unique and why you would choose one over the other.

  1. You guys actually never explained what this new machine is inside out . I’ve seen few videos you guys posted but it’s all random. Like what are the boiler sizes ,what are they made off , is it actually a dual boiler , heating element power, plum-able or not , tank size ,etc?

  2. Would be super interesting if you could make a video showing the internals of the Korean machine. Would like to know how much is engineered and built by them as opposed to standard industry components.

  3. The steam boiler on the Linea mini is a heat exchanger boiler, isn't it, that's why the brew boiler is small but brew back to back shots with no consistency issues.

  4. I bought my Linea Mini from Prima Coffee Equipment about a year ago and I simply love it. The steam wand with its comercial boiler takes some time getting used to it. It steams the milk in 7 to 9 seconds!!!! It’s simply amazing.

The only thing I wished it had was flow control . Maybe that’s an update that La Marzocco could add to its app to control the flow .

    It’s a work horse!

    Love it!

Prima Coffee has always been very responsive!

    Thanks
