In this tutorial we will learn how to make a simple mosquito repellent using arduino and a piezo buzzer. The buzzer will emit the silent (to human ear) frequency of 31kHz, this frequency is known to repell the mosquitoes and you can adjust the frequency to your needs as well.
This simple tutorial is great for beginners.

  1. I am trying to keep cats out of our plants by using 30khz and a motion sensor. Is there a way to set this up using the arduino motion sensor module to activate it for 30 seconds or so then go into a sleep or wait mode to save power? Thanks for the project.
