Updates to an arduino UGV project (based on a brushed RC truck) to follow pre-programmed GPS waypoints. Custom navigation unit consisting of two arduino nanos, bn880 (GPS), MPU9250 (9-axis IMU), voltage sensor, NRF24 radio module, and custom PCB.
Updates include:
– faster and more efficient arduino to arduino communication
– telemetry
– custom Python GUI with live position data displayed on google earth
– jerky ESC issue solved
– capable of running at higher speeds (10mph on pavement)
