  1. Fuck the haters! Your giving knowledge to poeple. I work a lathe on occasin, and this could come in handy.

  2. Spring is in the air! (well, it was when this video was being created) Thanks Tony!

  3. Great stuff mate ? thanks for that , now I'm gonna spring into action and make some . ?

  4. Did you make any heat treatment after you made the spring? Using the music wire?

  5. a heat treated wire you can easily bend into a spring shape wont make a very good and springy spring

  6. Brilliant thank you! I’ve been cannibalising (recycling) broken equipment to supply my spring collection for years and someone commented they’re never the ones you need – very true. So I cut and bend them to bodge jobs.

Can you make a new video please? One that shows how to make springs without one of your turny things ‘cos they’re a bit expensive. Thank you

  7. I want to make spirals from galvanized wire, like the ones used to join panels on mesh gabions. Do you have any explanatory video or know where i can learn how to make them? Thanks!!

  8. Note: eye injuries aren't funny.
They tend to be permanent and forever change your life.

  9. Just waiting now for the ChubbyEmu video title: "A man lost a spring under tension. This is what happened to his eye."

  10. Now, how do you make spring steel from scratch? Now that's the question.

  11. I was so innocent when I looked into youtube, how spring are made, and Oh Boy! i'm laughing so hard of all those puns!

  12. it ia incredible how many differnt springs there are in use today and how hard it can be to find one that is the right size and strength, I have saved every spring I find or salvage so that I now have a large coffee can full…..now I need to learn how to remake old springs into ones I need

  13. Thank you so much for this beautiful piece of art!!!! I find it a crime that in 6 months of stalking going through your catalog this is the first of this kind I have found!

  14. Snide, sarcastic, pedantic, trite. Could have said it all in 1/3 the time. Only thing I learned is that music wire springs do not have to be heat treated, and I'm not sure that is correct, but I'll try it.
