Did not see the drama . Hope no one blackballs you from the garden shop.
I've never felt guilty for it. I see it as rescuing them. I would think the people at the company are happy they didn't die. Not the company, persay. I've always wondered if they wonder… ? ? ?
I prefer to do this dry. Have a friend who does the wet method.
Much appreciated and many blessings!
Helping each other is a virtue.
Do you know have much stress your plants received?! Nothing new, but it’s bad for your plants to have that kind of treatment….
???The art of multiplying, my friend. Great job on this video.
Good advice
My Nan done this method with me at her side as a kid, She explained that if she pulled them apart she would hurt them and when it was time to separate two I wasn't thrilled saying "NAN Your hurting them". Oh I was so young and dumb lol.
No need to bother with the water, just pull or cut them apart.
Thanks for the tip appreciated?
This is so true! I do it all the time …is like getting a special deal every time! Thanks for sharing.
I'm frugal and always look for more than one plant in the pot when buying plants in the spring? The rest of the video is MAGIC!!! I only recently learned this is how to separate Hostas, washing away the dirt and gently separate the root systems. Lastly YOUR cages are BRILLIANT!!! What a clever way to protect plants, self made cages! LOVE IT!!
I would love to know how you got your wisteria to bloom!? Or does it take a couple years before it does? I bought one and have it Vining will enough, but when will it bloom??? Thank you. Thanks for the great info on gardening!! ?
I dont understand how you have ANYTHING green in your garden with your chickens in there!!!! I have 7 and they absolutely turned my garden to bare soil before i had a suitable run….. tell me THAT secret…. no one will be upset. lol thanks for the vid
Thanks for the tip and I have seen multiple plants in one pot but didn't know how to separate the roots. Your detailed explanation has heiped tremendously. You always gain by sharing…good luck!
Lool what a secret dude how u share this oh lord
All gardening tips should be shared
This is something that I do and a lot of other people do too: When going to a nursery and choosing a plant, choose the one that looks healthiest, largest, and bountiful.
The title is very Scotty Kilmer inspired lol
Yep. I divide almost every plant I buy at the big box stores or nursery. Most are root bound anyway.
Gosh darn it …. love it ? Wish I lived in America ?
Nice
Good tip ?
I subscribed because of the chickens. They are so cute
And thanks for the gardening tips. God bless from Anne
Plant a seed. MUCH cheaper. I would be curious to see the results of a seed planted near this plant. Which would fruit first?
Can you please show off your wisteria more, and let me/us know how you trained it.
That is simply stupid, not a secret.
There are only 2 syllables in gent-ly.
I discovered that this summer when I bought a potted delphinium. It was actually 3 plants in one pot. I wasn’t nearly this gentle with the roots, just babied the 3 plants afterwards. They’re doing great!!!
The only plants I buy is tomatoes,I grow from seed all the rest of my garden.
I find they finesse apart better when you treat them as if they were not so much next to each other vertically but horizontally. Like their roots together and their heads as far as possible from the head of the other on the horizontal plane.
yup , i do that also so that i have some extra to add to what i give away,,, i grow way more than what i could ever use so i give some away
Saw the title and came in just to comment. The video is paused while I type. Were you high?
That was a secret ? I always do that when I buy starts. What I did like was his method of taking the roots apart . I don’t use water jus gentle hands but seeing how water did that made me feel stupid I didn’t think of that before lmfao ?
Thank you for sharing thế Great tối! I’ve done the sale thing tô!
What's that beautiful purple flower shrub?
Pssst… try seeds, then you can have a whole flat for the same price.
Damn… Plant Abundance, you must hang around some nasty people.
In 20 years, I haven't met a single gardener yet who wasn't willing to freely share his gardening experience.
Hype… nothing special about this. Everyone is already doing it. It's been on YouTube for years.
