What happens when you get water in an electric outlet without gfci? YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE. Can you run lights or a toaster under water? appliance & lights underwater? One of my viewers wanted to know what happens when an outlet gets wet & it’s not protected by a GFCI plug.

Thanks for watching please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE – Power strip used: https://amzn.to/34SczFu I am hoping @Electroboom may shed some light on the results of these tests? Do NOT try any of the tests you saw in the video. There were numerous safety precautions taken that you can't see to ensure I was safe at all times.
Funny how you used a PREMIUM power strip and not just a generic type one, from like Walmart or BestBuy because a generic one would most definitely trip the breaker
Found this out with orange juice while playing ps3 in 2013 after the spill it started popping and I turned it off still kept popping so I unplugged it and it stopped thank god the ps3 was fine but the surge protector nope
Apologies ahead of time, as I am neophyte when comes to electricity and carpentry etc…. Are there disadvantages to using a GFI outlet?
Is the water like, pure so it doesn't conduct electricity or smt? Like, does regular outlets that aren't gfci go boom?
I don't get it! This scared the hell out of me: I keep a 6 outlet computer strip under my table next to my chair. It's plugged into a true A.C. UPS. I drink a lot of Ice Tea, with diet sweetener with freshly squeezed lime juice. So one night I'm sitting here and heard a strange gurgling noise. I looked under the table and found that I previously spilled some tea on the table, into the outlet. The SCARY part was the way it looked. It looked like you heated it up to soften it and grabbed each end and twisted it! Obviously, the tea was boiling inside and massively deformed it. The scary part is maybe it could have caught fire. Maybe try adding some lemon or lime juice and try it again? It was maybe 5%. Not kidding about this, and sorry for the rant. ? SUBSCRIBED!
Wait, so how do you know the water has a current? If you had a light bulb floating in the water would it light up?
Did i just see an Ad for 4 min and 20 sec straight?
2:16 Kubota just sitting in the back ground
You should've showed us that the water was electrified by putting something in and seeing the results
Edit: since I am depressed and want to die but i am afraid to off myself. I would offer myself as a test dummy but someone had to (do the deed) turn the shit on
this gives me the anxiety
bcoz you are using destilled water, try sea water
Must been the heat keeping it running
Distilled water is not conductive..it has neutral molecule and cannot conduct electricity..
Nice advertisement for the extender will be purchasing one soon ?
Womans: why we live longer than men's
The Mens:
why not measure the electricity in water using tester?
You do know that water is actually not that conductive. Drinking water where I live has a resistance of 50Kohms. Distilled water has even higher resistance.
err does it because of the brand of the wire extension??
Don’t try at home? Ok I’ll try it in my backyard outlet
fresh water is not conducive at all, this is why nothing happen, dirty or salt water is conductive, try it with salt water
0:19 Woah, that little toy brought back memories right there! Great video! ?
"Electricity and Water do not mix" yes, but actually yes
Water is not a conductor
Gonna try this at home:)
