My dad got this thing for $50 bucks and asked me if I wanted to fix it up.The goal was to restore the go kart for as cheap as possible using supplies we had on hand in the shop if possible. I ended up having to buy a couple things that were broken, but overall I think I achieved the goal. Paint job is 100% Rust-Oleum. Even after all this work, the thing is still a deathtrap with scary handling at top speed. Stay tuned for a video on what went into restoring the engine. I found something pretty interesting when I tore it apart… The video on the kart itself was long enough that I didn’t want to include everything with the engine and end up with a 1 hour + video.
