   I just searched how to make an electric bike because I already have the exaclt same better, motor and idea of how you've done yours, only my motor is on a non-suspension bike and sits above the frame.

    You should have at least used a hub that has 2 threaded sides not the casette type of hub.

    I am hoping you cannot Pedal it when the power drains as the motor shaft is hard to turn. Planning a freewheel in motor shaft may solve this. Anyways this will be simple electric bike solution.

    Make sure that the motor you are using doesn't have worm gear . If it have you will not be able to pedal otherwise the gear with break .
