This video is on how you can make a powerful Tesla Coil at home, I’m using the Slayer Exciter circuit for this project, Tesla coils work on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction that ” when a conductor is placed in a varying magnetic field an EMF is induced in it, and the current will flow through that conductor if the circuit is closed” and this slayer exciter operates with the Lenz’s law that the current produced by the EMF will be having a magnetic field to oppose the primary source. Here the circuit in this video can generate 5000v at its output. But here we are only using one transistor so that the time of usage is limited because the transistor gets too hot, so you can fix this issue by adding more transistors in parallel to the first one.

Actually, there is a mistake in the video. It’s 35 Gauge copper wire of 2 mm diameter instead of 30 Gauge wire.
and the equation is (1/.20)x250 = 1250 turns.

  10. can i use 4 or 8 gauge enamelled copper wire with 1 and a half turns for primary wire so that i can get more output??
