Just installed the boundary wire around the backyard for the Worx Landroid Automatic Robotic Lawnmower. Took about 40 minutes to install. Even though the wire is the recommended 14″ from the fence line, it looks like it could go another 4-6″ closer. That would let the lawn mower get closer to the fence line and reduce weed-eating. It’s amazingly quiet. So far I’m pleased with the purchase. I’ll post another video later after I get the wire moved and maybe also wire the front yard.

  1. I will be buying one soon if i somehow get lucky and close on my first property

    I want robot everything

Where is my robot kitchen at? Or robot service butler/maid

  2. Fun to watch this thing putz around the yard. Protip: cut your lawn before you install it.>>>t.co/Ep6sZTPcda  Makes pegging the stakes easier, leaves less slack in the wire, and the mower doesn't cut long grass well.

  3. Does this little guy leave tracks in the grass? I've been watching videos, and it's hard to tell if it's going to leave little wheel marks everywhere. I like to cut my grass long which is why the tracks concern me.

  4. Hi Joe Gadget, I have just purchased this Worx Landroid and I wonder if you can help me with something. I have a rectangular walled garden area with a small 2" border all around. Ideally, I would like the Worx mower to cut the whole lawn area from edge to edge but the instructions are stating that the cable must be bedded in the ground at around 10 inches from the border. Does this mean that there will be a border of overgrown grass that I will have to cut myself each week or can I move the cable closer?

  5. I too have a fenced backyard. I'd like the Landroid to also cut the fenceless frontward. Any suggestions? I can't leave the gate open because there's a four legged family member involved.
