After 1 year I finally got the mini jet boat out and started fixing the issues with it. this jet jon boat is 12 ft with a tigershark jet ski motor and pump assembly. I built it for fun just to see if it could be done and that was before I found out it was a thing on the inter web.
In this video I got a new seat and built a custom mounting bracket along with a new steering setup using. a steering wheel from a lawnmower.
