It’s his first lawn mowing, so keep your fingers crossed. Although it was not a bad result on the first version, it is clear that there is room for improvement.

  1. Hello, great great work ! Very impressive. What is the consumption of the robot With the NUC?

  2. Another question…isn't using an Intel NUC i7 overkill or am I off base? I've been looking at some other diy mowbots. They use Arduino or raspberry pi. Of course, let me say I've never put a bot together or anything like it. So I'm definitely not saying I know better….I mean, hey, I'm looking to copy off of other people's work in order to make mine. I can't and don't want to re-invent the wheel.

  3. Robot mowers should never be used to mow unkempt fields. Their forte is to keep a lawn cut every day or every other day.

  4. 4 minutes to cut a 3ft x 3ft space. It’s cool but it would take it a month to do my yard.

  5. Nice job looks pretty cool. Sounds pretty powerful!

  6. going to build it this year, its looks like a creat platform to expand my hobby with 3d printing and electronics and coding. thanks

  7. it would be cool if your going to make a way for people to make their own robot mower or make a better one
