How long does it take to get a pin. I'm on 10 min with nothing but "please wait".
Husqvarna needs to update this video as the app doesn't go through these screens any longer
I have a Husqvarna 310 with direct connect to my smartphone using their app.
I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and have about three quarters of an acre. My unit is a little under powered to do the job but it does accomplish the task. Next time I'll buy a 400 series…maybe?
Here are some of the good and bad experiences I've lived with concerning my auto mower.You won't get lawn striping with an auto mower and that can be a big turn-off for some.The cutting height is too short and needs to go up but that can be somewhat problematic with automowers. The constant turning of the automower on your lawn can rip up grass causing some bald spots. So you might have to do more lawn maintenance watering, feeding, Etc.Guide wires and Boundary wires can and do break and need to be repaired. Diagnosing the brake can be somewhat problematic.There is no handy way to recharge the mower over the winter.Husqvarna is a dealer Centric manufacturer. Unfortunately I'm a DIY guy. So although I have not had any problems with my auto mower, I may have to use a dealer if I do:(
When it comes down to it, it is simple and dependable technology and you can do your own maintenance and installation. Not spending two hours mowing per week is really important to me I still have to do some trimming/weed whacking but that's no big deal maybe 20 minutes tops. The "direct connect" application to my smart phone is a big plus for controlling options and preferences right from my air-conditioned living room:) Although the app needs to be less complicated with normal nomenclature.
My lawn does have a Greener look to it maybe because it is always being fed by the clippings.I have more time to do detailing to my lawn that I otherwise might not have ever done. No gas, no oil and no shed, no small engine repair and no similar hassles…a big plus for me. It is cost-effective, works quietly and it's green. Eventually I'm hoping all my lawn tools will run on the same batteries that I can simply swap from one to the other including my auto mower. (I hope I Husqvarna is listening to that)
So far over all I give it a B+ rating worth the $1500 investment and time it took for installations. However I see the automowers initial application being used more in the commercial world like apartment buildings, office complex to help cut down on overall maintenance fees. Homeowners will follow eventually but old behaviors like lawn cutting are hard to break and even enjoyable to some.

I love it,>>>t.co/Ep6sZTPcda directions were easy to understand along with then helpful video??Excellent Robotic Mower I would recommend it to friends and family!
BEWARE! In order to get failure notifications (which I get regularly – it gets stuck under the car or between two bushes or buries itself in the mulch around shrubs, or in a low spot on the lawn, or it can't find guide wire, etc. etc) from my Automower [$6600.00 and counting] installed) when I'm away from home I have to buy a $50.00/mo data package, which I otherwise don't need, from my cell phone provider!!!!! Too bad can't they use "push notifications"
I'm glad it has a 60 day money back guarantee, it has added so much stress to my life wondering when it's going to quit. Sometimes, when I'm home and CAN get the notifications, it doesn't notify me and I'm wondering will it just spin its wheels until the battery dies or the motors overheat and burn out – to say nothing of the shortening of its lifespan.
I have a shoulder injury and was hoping to be able to get rid of my old mower which left virtually no trimming required but I was surprised at how this machine leaves much larger uncut edges which will have to be done by hand.
In conclusion:
• noise level down 90%;
• walk-behind pollution level down 100%;
• environmental pollution level probably a wash since in Canada we have very few renewable sources of electricity so
it's running on natural gas and, maybe worse, nuclear;
• Stress level up 100%.
• Cuts great, but in practice it fails the grade.
• Does it matter who installs it? It matters big time!
And, I have to presume the fairy-tale Husqvarna YouTube video reviews many of us watch before making the purchase are professionally shot and are thinly veiled ads.
version 3.1 is crap. Communication from mower to app is ok, but it's impossible to send orders and settings from app to mower.
Previous versions worked not too bad but this one is s**t
Honestly, there should not be an app for that.
Definitely good for people who are disabled but want to remain in their home
This auto mower does not cut ur lawn in a straight line except it bounces from one end ur border line to the other, taking it all day to cut ur lawn. You will be better off doing ur self in 30 min.
Great work
I agree
No hard feelings I like your chainsaws and such, but that is gonna make people lazy, it's stupid
