After an initial test run of our rat rod racing lawn mower powered by a modified Predator 670cc v twin making 50 horsepower, we decided we needed to strengthen the chassis and add a wheelie bar before attempting wheelies and a high speed lap around our CarsandCameras Grand Prix circuit.
We added a trailer hitch receiver which strengthened up the rear of the racing lawn mower chassis, and also served as a spot to mount our trailer hitch, which acts as a wheelie bar. We then braced the underside of the chassis with two steel pipes in an X formation. Then, it was wheelie time!
