This is our first look at an Ambrogio robotic lawn mower. This is the Ambrogio 4.0 Elite model that we will be looking at and in this video we’re going to show you a few of the key features of this mower. This is the first time that we have had the opportunity to see one of these 4.0 Elite mowers up close and we can honestly say that the spec sheets and manufacturer’s presentations did the best they could to paint a picture of what this mower is, but it is even more impressive when you first see it up close. This is a heavy built robotic mower that has a lot of bells and whistles, but will still get the job done in tough conditions! So after you watch this video be sure to leave some feedback in the comments section because we would love to hear what you guys think after seeing this small taste of what the Elite 4.0 has to offer.

  1. Hi, useful video. I’m looking for an Automower at the moment and your video and Mower magic’s comparison reviews are very positive , and highlight without question the quality of these machines. However why is there so much negative feedback from users and some dealers. Looking at multiple. best mower 2021 reviews, the Ambrogio range is hardly, if ever, mentioned. Why? Are the Elites a new range, and yet to be assessed properly. It says something that John Lewis are happy to market them. What’s going on. ??

  2. This thing looks like it would give a mars rover a run for its money.. lots of nice new features .. it seriously makes Husqvarna's automower 450x look like it was built at least 10 years ago.. Husqvarna you need to up your game fast.. your robotic mowers are overpriced and quickly becoming outdated .. thin hard plastic wheels that can slip on damp inclines , overly bulky , problems with the LCD displays cracking around the edges..  C´mon get it togeather

  3. Very interesting mower! Would be great to see a comparison with Usqvarna and see the Ambrogio actually performing in a real garden with obstacles, little bumps, check the charging time required, how well it cuts the edges and so on! Thanks for the review 🙂

  4. I too would like to see how it handles hills even a bit over it's specs, I have been eyeing this model for my yard and any test results you can share would be much appreciated. Also give us all the specs, doesn't the elite have GPS? What about other features? Read they have a feature where you can put a tag on your dog/cat and if they approach the mower it will stop.

  5. Would love to see a live comparison between this and the Automower AWD on hills and rough terrain. I believe the Automower is rated for a greater slope (70%), but that might not be the whole story.

  6. would love to see what RPM the blade turns. While I like how beefy this thing is I would guess that greatly reduces run time.
Personally I believe once you get a mower that no longer needs the guild wire automatic mowers will then dominate the market. I have two Husqvarna 450x and love them. Dealing with guild wire problems is the biggest issue. When I installed the 2nd mower this year I upgraded my guild wire to the new orange 5.5mm wire. Hopefully this will help my issue with the dreaded flashing blue light of death.

  7. I have had two Ambrogio mowers when they were going under the name Lawnbott. Hope they have made improvements. The models I had needed to be sent off many times. Lift errors, signal losses which required additional signal boosters. Not good on hills. Solid blades would grab sticks and stop. The Automower 450x has been plug and play without problems for two seasons now. Will have to watch this space for awhile. I love how more companies are joining in; We all will benefit.

  8. Looks good but only rated .8 acre? About same cost as Husqvarna, do you think the "heaviness" will make it better? Can't wait to see your testing!

  9. Cool first presentation. I have a lot of basic questions but I'm sure they'll be answered an upcoming presentation. I look forward to your review of how it mows and it's limitations. I'd like to see a torture run head on head with the Husqvarna AWD unit to see if those soft tires can beat a AWD concept.
