  1. Great video!! It has been about a year. Is it still in service? Would love a follow up video talking lessons learned. We are seriously leaning this direction and researching it.

  2. I will say out off all the videos I’ve watched this is by far the best. Thank you

  3. I love your channel! Could you give us an update on how this is taking care of the lawn? I'd love to understand if it helped with fertilization with the constant mulching and how you handle the edging on the flower beds. My backyard is very similar to the area you are using your unit on so any info I am sure would be helpful to me and to many others!

  4. I have this and it is a pain in the butt. It gets hung up on everythng and i have to go chase it. It's not ready for prime time. My vacuum robot i much better. It connects to my phone, so i know when its in trouble

  5. Instead of a Roomba my husband calls them a Yardba…. LOL

  6. I really love this concept but unless it can do edges and cross concrete sections, it’s not for most people.

  7. Laura's facial expression at asking the dealer for the price point 😂 Living in the Phoenix area, we have a very small patch of grass so something like this would probably be over kill, but definitely interesting to learn about. Thank you Laura and Aaron!

  8. We bought one of these about 18 months ago and absolutely love it! Super easy to install, we rented that machine to put in the line and did several acres in about 90 minutes. Easy to move the line if want to change it later. It is a bit of an upfront investment, but since we were paying a landscaper to mow… it has paid for itself already. We think it was totally worth the $. Just have to do the edges. We have scheduled it to run early in the morning so it's not in the way when we are out on the lawn. It even runs in the rain. My husband bought a dog house (Home Depot) for it and cut a wider hole for it to live in. 🙂

  9. I think this is a game changer for people with physical handicaps or the elderly… My husband would be furious if I tried to push this on him… He so enjoys his mower, much like Hank Hill lol

  10. Lol is this the future ? :)……sorry but this has been reallity for most people with a lawn for the last 6-7 years. You are very late to the party 🙂

  11. I read on several reviews of robotic mowers that Mole hills can be an issue if you have lots of moles…that stopped us…even removing 5-6 moles a season only pauses the mole hills as new ones move in.

  12. These have become so popular where we live in PA. There’s a business across the street from an Amtrak line by us who have one and it constantly goes rogue across the road and gets lost on the tracks.

  13. Hi Laura and Aaron–this has nothing to do with the automower, but I wanted to tell you that I have been watching your videos almost every day for the past several years. I had heard you talk about a membership option that you offer for your channel for $4.99 a month, and when I heard about that I thought, "Definitely worth it!" I looked and searched, but I couldn't figure out how to join (this was weeks ago), but today when I looked at your channel, a pop-up box came up asking me if I would like to join. I did! Thank you for offering that option. I get so much from your videos and have learned so much that I want to support you guys so that you can continue to provide this valuable content to all of us. Love your videos! Keep on doing what you're doing!

  14. Unrelated, what brand of steroids do you use on your iceberg roses? 🤣 I feel like every year they get bigger and better haha. So pretty.

  15. I understand the novelty of an item like this but theoretically you could employ someone to mow the area for ($200 month) three years and still be under or right at the cost of what the unit is depending on the model. Unless the unit is guaranteed for more than that amout of time it seems like a waste of resources. /electricity/cost/ etc. (Don't mind me, I couldn't afford it anyway)

  16. I love the concept. I'm waiting for someone to build my dream mower. It would have all the power and size of my push mower ( battery, of course) so it could mulch the leaves from my 30 trees. My other feature would be remote control instead of autonomy. I can see myself with an iced coffee in the shade with a Wii controller. 😉

  17. I’ve been in the robo mower game for about 5 years now. A couple notes:
1.) if it runs regularly the lines go away and your yard turns to one solid block of green.
2.) if you enjoy mowing you can still spend time in the yard, you just spend that time making the yard better (so the mower doesn’t get stuck).

  18. This will be a real game-changer for many people, especially seniors or those that are disabled. Years ago, I removed all my lawn both front and back and I just have border gardens with pathways. It'd be so nice to have a weekend when we don't have to hear all the lawnmowers going.
