Thinkpad battery emulator by Alexander Parent running on ideapad g550, only minor modifications so far. That’s what i would call a successful test!

Today is the first day i see this laptop running without a stationary power supply, so this is a quite emotional moment. Will try to get a better understanding of the communication these days and then upload my modified sketch too! this whole thing is rather interesting, since a lot of devices use sbs/smbus commands… 😉

  1. Hello. I am facing a problem. Arduino always outputs 12,367 volts according to the SMBus protocol, even if the battery is not connected at all. I tried to change a part of the code with resistances, but the program does not use it at all. (In addition, outside the program, the code with the definition of the voltage works correctly) Tell me, please, have you encountered this?
