tried RC lawn mower with low budget. Goal was to finish no more than $300 excluding mower. So used used motors ( 2 left ), cheaper RC receivers, cheapest motor control. At the end this project failed even though you can see it’s moving about. I had multiple trial errors that added costs also. But deal buster was that motor control was too low spec, it can not have more batteries to be added and it was struggling moving around without load. So based on current design if you commit to saber tooth 2×32 dual motor control, you can add more batteries and get RC lawn mower. But I’m not doing that I found my local guy works so good, I’d pay him 4 times with controller money.
To work around expensive high capacity dual motor control, I come up with idea using two cheaper ESC, but that’s next story,
